Vow Renewals

There are many different reasons you might choose to renew your marriage vows and it is a brilliant opportunity for a couple to commemorate a love which has grown and deepened over the years. It’s a great way to celebrate a milestone in your marriage such as a ‘big’ anniversary, or to signify overcoming a bad time in your relationship such as a rocky patch or even a major illness. Whatever the reason it’s a perfect way to share your strength and love as a couple who have stood the test of time! A renewal of vows certainly doesn't have to be a second wedding, you can opt for something much more intimate but again it should reflect who you are now as a married couple so if you want to go all out, go for it!! 

As your renewal of vows celebrant I will work with you in a similar way to how I would the first time around! I’ll get to know you and your personalities, I’ll want to know how you’ve made your marriage work and what you’ve learned from each other over the years. what has tested you. Your love story has transcended far beyond your wedding day now and so these are the best kind of love stories.

I can give you ideas on how to include family or friends, maybe a symbolic ritual. You could reconfirm the meaning of your rings, (maybe even new rings?) You really have so much freedom here, maybe more than you had when you got married!
